Manufacturing Technician III (Maple Plain, MN)

As a Manufacturing Technician III at Smith+Nephew, you will play a key role in supporting the production of implantable medical devices. You will set up and qualify production equipment, develop and execute maintenance schedules, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime. You will also support process development and validation, maintain spare parts and materials, and ensure a clean and safe production environment.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or similar (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 6+ years of experience in medical device or other high-reliability regulated manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience with equipment validation and structured troubleshooting
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to wear cleanroom clothing and work in a cleanroom environment as needed
