The Proposal Manager will develop custom and complex Requests for Information (RFI) and Proposals (RFP) for clients, illustrating the SmithRx value proposition to potential clients, consultants, and benefit brokers. The role involves overseeing the RFI and RFP process, collaborating with internal teams, and reviewing proposal drafts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of RFI/RFP experience, specifically on large groups (20,000 lives and above is preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Experience in PBM, software, employee benefits, healthcare industries is a plus
- Experience utilizing RFP management tools such as Ringmaster, Proposal Tech, TrueBid
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Experience with Excel, Salesforce, and Adobe
- Ability to multitask across several work streams, and to work independently to manage tasks and projects to meet firm deadlines
- Ability to collaborate constructively and positively with teammates and partners, even under the stress of a fast-paced business environment
