The company is looking for a Global Supply Manager to lead strategic commodities within the technically challenging supply chain for Waveguides, Displays and Optical Engines.
Requirements
- Lead strategic commodities within the technically challenging supply chain for Waveguides, Displays and Optical Engines
- Provide technical support to other internal team members
- Provide expert commercial & technical support to source high quality parts and sub-assemblies that meet all performance, functional and commercial criteria
- Drive design to cost – look at ways to achieve the optimal technology at the optimal cost point.
- Lead due diligence and qualification of new suppliers and technologies.
- Produce and maintain should cost models for key commodities.
- Undertake business travel in support of new supplier/technology investigations and supplier due diligence - In Europe, Asia and North America. Approximately 10-20% travel.
