We are seeking a Mid-Level / Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kirkland, WA to lead and work on various Power & Renewable and Electrical Engineering projects. The work schedule could be a hybrid opportunity, but the preference will be given to local candidates. The Electrical Engineer reports to our Chief Electrical Engineer and is responsible for possessing a deep and broad base of knowledge of Engineering Design in Power and Industrial Projects within the US.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineer Degree from a recognized university
- 10-20 years of experience for senior positions
- 6-9yrs of experience for mid-level positions
- Have solid engineering design background in power, industrial and high voltage substations (AIS and GIS)
- Strong knowledge in applicable codes and standards (NEC, ANSI/ IEEE)
- Have leadership skills to lead projects and engineering design team
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on client management
- Valid P.E. in the US or have NCEES record
- Experienced in equipment sizing, specification, and selection (transformers, generators, motors, HV substation equipment AIS and GIS physical layout, elevation, conductor and bus bar sizing/selection, and material selection)
- Experienced in developing one-line diagrams, 3-line diagrams, schematic diagrams
- Experienced in power system studies (load flow, short circuity, arc flash, relay coordination, grounding/lightning protection system,)
- Familiar with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, CDEGS
