Principal Urban Designer

Principal Urban Designer role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Contribute to design and delivery of projects, take ownership of design packages, and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Degree of post graduate qualification in urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture, or related field
• 15 years relevant working experience in urban design, urban planning and master planning
• Strong design and graphics capabilities, ability to communicate ideas via various visual and graphic media
• Fully conversant with Adobe Creative Suite, demonstrable graphics and visualisation skills
• Competent in PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD
• Experience in working with a multidisciplinary team, strong design management, report production and coordination skills
• An understanding of sustainability issues within the public realm, LEED or similar experience an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
