Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification and assessment, structural design, and ageing management for nuclear power plants and industrial buildings. Provide technical instructions to junior staff and review technical information and design documentation.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree from an accredited University
- Minimum 10 years of structural analysis and design experience
- Licensed in a professional engineering organization recognized in Canada
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
- Experience with static, dynamic and seismic analysis of structures and foundations
- Knowledge of Canadian and International Codes and standards used in Civil/Structural engineering
- Experience with Analysis software commonly used in Civil/Structural engineering
- Knowledge of modification process of Nuclear Power Plant
- Good skills in time management and setting priorities
- Effective organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
