Snipebridge is seeking a Supervising Engineer - Water Resources to lead and mentor staff-level engineers and develop market footprint in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate has 15-20 years of experience in civil-geotechnical engineering and a B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
Requirements
- Supervising and scheduling geotechnical and structural engineering staff and providing technical direction and oversight.
- Senior project management of interdisciplinary teams of geotechnical, structural, hydrologic/hydraulic, and civil engineers.
- Managing and reviewing the preparation of construction plans and technical specifications.
- Providing leadership/mentoring to technical staff.
- Managing and tracking budgets, creating project invoicing and Client follow-up
- Communicating effectively and efficiently with team members, clients and contractors.
- Interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Preparing technical and cost proposals.
- Supervising fieldwork including test borings and instrumentation installations and construction monitoring for dam and levee rehabilitation projects.
- Providing data analysis, organization, and interpretation in support of dam/levee inspections, evaluations, and rehabilitations projects.
- Executing and/or supervising engineering analyses including seepage and slope stability analyses of embankment dams and levees, drainage and filter designs, gravity dam stability analyses.
- Writing and/or reviewing field reports, inspection/engineering reports, and permit applications.
