Job Description
Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize sales cycles, and close business. The ideal candidate has 7-8 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in pre-sales, and expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and database technology.
Requirements
- 7-8 years of industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales
- Outstanding presenting skills
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud
- Broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Ability to connect customer's specific business problems and Snowflake's solutions
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc)
- Approximately 30% travel
