Bereavement Manager position at Snowline Health, a non-profit organization providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients and families. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a counseling-related field, 3+ years of postgraduate experience in healthcare and grief, and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or a counseling-related field from an accredited graduate school
- At least 3 years postgraduate experience, preferably in health care and grief
- At least 2 years supervisory experience and experience in program development
- Excellent computer skills, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred
- Current CA driver license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Willing and physically able to perform home visits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently use a computer required
- Prior electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred
- Periodic evening and weekend availability may be necessary upon occasion
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- In-depth knowledge about grief and loss
- Comfortable serving a multicultural and multigenerational community
- Have integral knowledge of our communities and their needs
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles preferred
