Head of Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering leads high school teaching and department development across mathematics, physics, and applied engineering-related learning.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics or Physics required
- Engineering experience or background strongly preferred
- Ability to teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Statistics
- Ability to teach Physics preferred
- Strong classroom teaching experience at the high school level
- Strong systems, organization, and project management skills
- Strong academic governance and administrative follow-through related to classes and department leadership
- Interest in design, product development, applied problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning
- Comfort with or strong interest in technology, robotics, and AI is highly desirable
