Job Description
Solutus Legal is seeking a Vice President / Deputy General Counsel to lead their legal department and serve as a second-in-command to the General Counsel. The role involves transforming legal operations into a strategic business accelerator, supporting company growth, and building highly-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background and experience in highly regulated industries, and will work directly with an exceptionally talented and growing team.
Requirements
- J.D. degree and bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- 12+ years of legal experience, including substantial litigation background
- Deep experience in a highly regulated field, especially FDA and healthcare regulatory experience
- Experience handling transactional legal matters (commercial, labor & employment)
- Experience managing and developing legal teams
- Strong judgment and decision-making under ambiguity
