Lead Software Engineer, Pub Admin

At Sony Music Entertainment, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Pub Admin product team in our King's Cross office (London). The successful candidate will have 18+ years of software engineering experience and be responsible for building products that empower artists and record labels across the globe.

Requirements

• 18+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience implementing distributed systems
• Experience in a scripting language (Python and JavaScript)
• Experience building frontend applications (TypeScript, React, and GraphQL)
• Experience with various database technologies and query languages (Neo4j, Kafka, MySQL, Snowflake, OpenSearch, and more)
• Familiar with low-latency techniques
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and related standards
• Comfortable with AWS Cloud technologies
• Experience using log analysis to investigate bugs and performance issues
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience working in an agile team
