Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient, and effective operations of the malting and grain handling processes at our Calgary plant. The successful candidate will provide leadership to plant production, shipping, and grain handling operations, and ensure adherence to best in class manufacturing practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Brewing or agriculture education an asset
- Related grain, agriculture, malting, or brewing experience is considered an asset
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Knowledge of and commitment to general safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough knowledge of HACCP
- Experience with labour relations is considered an asset
- Experience in the handling and management of railcars is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and production technologies, with the ability to leverage data and digital tools
- Comfortable working with automation technology, computers, etc
