Job Description
The Production Manager provides leadership and direction to the operations at the plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations through effective people management, process optimization, and adherence to safety, quality, and food safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing setting
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in grain handling, food processing, or manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough understanding of HACCP, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Skilled in team leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with labor relations preferred
- Knowledge of malt and barley analytics is an asset
