Job Description
SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a Litigation Legal Assistant based in the New York office supporting the Litigation Practice Group. The position involves assisting attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including drafting, revising, and reformatting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Requirements
- Drafting, revising, and reformatting pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents.
- E-filing all court documents in state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Maintaining pleading and discovery binders.
- Managing all incoming mail.
- Managing calendars and assisting in meeting deadlines.
- Communicating with clients, courts, and attorneys.
- Opening new files, preparing conflicts checks, and drafting engagement letters.
- Processing monthly billing, time entry, and general office responsibilities.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned in support of attorneys.
