The successful candidate will be responsible for document handling, driving services, and administrative duties as a Document and Courier Administrator.
Requirements
- Complete assigned work within the set time and defined standards.
- Deliver high quality and relevant work by performing document handling task activities as required.
- Provide driver services for parcels and passengers.
- Receive and deliver packages, documents, mail and other items for distribution and ensure that all items are properly recorded in the relevant register.
- Sort and distribute items to be delivered according to recipients and destinations.
- Distribute mail/documents and items to the allocated department(s)/offices, external locations or subsidiaries.
- Communicate daily with the client to provide updates, track and trace items based on the tracking report and ensure timely resolution of any queries or discrepancies.
- Obtain signatures for the delivered goods including recipient's responses to messages as proof of delivery.
- Record information for all goods received and delivered, including time of receipt, time of delivery and recipient acknowledgment or response.
- Identify and solve document handling task-related queries.
- Track and trace all goods collections and deliveries, communicate with recipients of mail, deliveries and other stakeholders through various communication channels and provide timely feedback on the status of items.
- Assist with administrative and ad hoc duties within the Mailing Services Unit, including verifying and reconciling monthly courier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Follow approved mail and courier guidelines, along with applicable SARB-wide policies to complete tasks efficiently and ensure deliveries are made promptly and effectively.
