Job Description
South Carolina Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loss Prevention Operations Specialist to join their team in North Charleston, SC. The role involves maintaining open communication with Loss Prevention Management, supporting Loss Prevention functions, and communicating with members and external parties regarding Bankruptcy, Repossession, and other accounts. Responsibilities include reviewing court documents, setting up and maintaining accounts, and processing trustee payments.
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 3 years of similar or related collections, repossession, and bankruptcy law experience
- working knowledge of lending practices, small claims court, and financial terms
- excellent communication skills
- negotiating skills and problem-solving ability
- time management and organizational skills
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- ability to analyze situations and make solid decisions with exceptional judgment
