Primary Care Physician HIV Exp A Plus

Southwest Care Center is seeking a full-time Physician to provide primary care to the underserved in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate has experience in primary care, preferably in HIV medicine, and is passionate about making a difference in the community.

Requirements

• Examine and diagnose patients, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including preventive care and health maintenance
• Educate patients and families about health issues, disease prevention, and medical treatments
• Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
• Keep detailed medical records and document patient care activities
• Provide leadership to clinic staff and participate in quality assurance initiatives
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education or seminars
• Participates in quality measures and chart review
• Performs other duties as required and assigned
