Job Description
The BIM Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and implementation of BIM processes and workflows related to mechanical systems in projects, requiring extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and BIM software.
Requirements
- Develop and review mechanical designs, layouts, and schematics using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, local codes, and client specifications
- Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of the mechanical BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications
- Identify and mitigate risks early in the design phase to minimize changes during construction
