Lead Teacher

This Lead Teacher role focuses on planning and implementing daily classroom lessons while maintaining safety standards and adhering to Sparkles! policies. The position involves preparing culturally and linguistically diverse curriculum, as well as providing developmentally appropriate activities for young children, including lesson plans. The role also requires preparing weekly lesson plans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training in a childcare setting is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Implements developmentally appropriate early childcare and preschool programs for young children.
• Prepares weekly lesson plans to include age and stage appropriate activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
