The Operation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the distribution center operations, including labor management, shipping and receiving, and distribution center personnel. The role partners with distribution management to oversee and recommend improvements to processes and facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
- Five years distribution center experience, two years supervisory/management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Good leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment
- Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict management and business acumen skills
- Ability to work across business units
- In-depth knowledge of distribution center operations, knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and ability to travel up to 15% as necessary
