Job Description
The Warehouse Safety & Training Specialist is responsible for ensuring safety training for distribution center positions and promoting a culture of safety within the company. This role will involve implementing safety programs, conducting audits, and providing training to new hires. The ideal candidate will have experience in training, environmental, and safety, with a background in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Associates and/or equivalent work experience required
- 3-5+ years’ experience in Training, Environmental and Safety or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole) language skillset a plus
- Entry level professional certifications in EH&S related fields are considered beneficial and may include GSP, OHST, ASP, etc. OSHA 10 certification a plus.
- MHE Certification preferred
