As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. Requirements
- Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments
- Fit bands for appliances, place arch wires, bond brackets, place fixed retainers, take impressions and digital scans (iTero)
- Patient education on care orthodontic instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
- DANB x-ray certification required. In certification process is acceptable.
- Experience working in an orthodontic setting is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping young patients have positive dental experiences.
- Familiarity with dental software for charting and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
