Job Description
The Patient Transport Dispatcher Associate role supports hospital operations by coordinating patient transport and environmental services, providing direct transport assistance, and maintaining efficient patient flow while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining safety and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Answer and manage high volume phone lines and other devices
- Dispatch EVS cleaning requests
- Coordinate real-time breaks and lunch coverage
- Coordinate and order specialty beds
- Assign, track and communicate Transport and EVS tasks
- Assist with transporting patients and equipment
- Provide professional customer service at all times
- Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
