Job Description
We are seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health Sleep Center in Royal Oak, MI. The ideal candidate will have formal training in polysomnography and/or be enrolled in a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) program with the polysomnography option. The role involves providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and patient care and education.
Requirements
- Formal training in polysomnography program and/or enrolled in a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) program with the polysomnography option
- Current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification
- 1-3 years-preferred
- Board Certified examinations with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technology (BRPT), National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)- certification or equivalent required
