Job Description
The Speech and Language Pathology Department is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide individualized patient care, assess and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders in children and adults. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate referred patients, establish patient and family centered goals and develop and execute treatment plans to promote or maximize independence in the discharged setting.
Requirements
- Master's Degree, Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ASHA
- Experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment
- Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies
- Certificate of Clinical Competence, America Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan
