Consultant Advisor, Pharmacy

SpendMend is seeking a Consultant Advisor to provide expert analytical support to healthcare organizations, pharmacies, and other clients. The Consultant Advisor will help optimize pharmacy and 340B financials, ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, and contribute to the development of pharmacy-related strategies.

Requirements

• Analyze pharmacy data, including drug usage patterns, cost analyses, and patient outcomes, to provide actionable insights for clients.
• Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations based on data to support decision-making and business planning.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the quality of services provided by the pharmacy.
• Advise on the integration of new technologies, software systems, and tools to improve pharmacy processes.
• Advise on ways to manage pharmacy costs effectively, including drug procurement strategies, formulary management, and reimbursement optimization.
• Identify opportunities to enhance cost-efficiency without compromising patient care or service quality.
• Evaluate current 340B operations and recommend process improvements for drug purchasing, inventory management, and contract pharmacy arrangements.
• Assist clients in maximizing 340B savings by identifying underutilized opportunities and recommending strategic changes.
• Provide expert advice on resolving complex 340B-related issues, including problems with compliance, contract pharmacy relationships, and drug distribution practices.
