Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HDD Driller (Manager) to lead and execute directional drilling operations and safely deliver bore construction in line with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in HDD operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and excellent knowledge of HDD equipment, tools, and techniques.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in HDD operations
- Proven experience in longreach HDD, including planning, design interface, drilling operations, contractor management, and risk control
- Well-developed geotechnical skills across soft soils, hard rock, transitional strata, and variable ground behavior
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of HDD equipment, tools, and techniques, and relevant safety standards and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
- A proactive safety mindset and commitment to quality and environmental compliance
- Familiarity with planning tools/software (e.g., Microsoft Project) is beneficial
