Job Description
Spire is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join a growing team providing space-based solutions to the commercial market. The role involves engaging with customers, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions leveraging Spire's small satellite platforms and payloads, and presenting technical information to prospective customers. This position requires a strong understanding of satellite mission design and requirements. The position also focuses on technical communication, presenting on technical subjects, and supporting the sales team with System Requirements Review.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
- Experience in satellite mission design, development, and testing
- Understanding of major mission design trades
- Knowledge of satellite design and orbital simulation software (AGI STK)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in communication and presentation skills
- Strong comprehension skills for complex customer requirements
