Production Manager

Splintek is a Lenexa-based manufacturing company that provides high-quality healthcare products. The Production Manager will oversee staff, equipment, and tasks to ensure efficient production and quality requirements are met.

Requirements

• Coordinate with executive management
• Plan, schedule, and review workload
• Ensure injection mold machine operators are trained
• Work closely with inventory and purchasing
• Take responsibility for process control
• Maintain production log sheets and quality audits
• Regularly inspect samples of finished products
• Coordinate with upper management and HR
• Provide and track training opportunities
• Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain staff performance results
• Set and monitor department performance goals
• Communicate with employees and other departments
• Adhere to GMP and fulfill QMSM and Quality Assurance responsibilities
• Make safety a priority consideration
• Proactively seek out safety and loss prevention feedback
• Maintain the physical condition of the production area and machinery
• Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives
• Assist with FDA, ISO, and other required audits
• Achieve financial objectives
• Maintain personal professional and technical knowledge
