Job Description
The Chief Medical Officer provides medical and administrative directions to the entire medical and specialty program of the David C. Wynecoop Health Center. The CMO is responsible for developing effective and consistent protocols, procedures and policies pertaining to the medical functions of the clinic.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising physicians and other provider staff
- Must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine and have completed training internship and residency as required for eligibility for Washington State Licensure
- Must be licensed by the State of Washington Medical Board
- Board certified in Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine or Board eligibility and completion within 1 year of hire
- Must possess current DEA registration for prescribing narcotics
- Must obtain and report CME as required for license renewal
- Must meet credential standards and be granted privileges from the DCWMHC
- Must possess a valid driverās license, good driving record, and be insured by the Tribeās insurance carrier
- Must strictly adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA policies
