Engineer I, II, Sr/II or Lead - Operational Planning

Southwest Power Pool is seeking an Engineer I, II, Sr/II or Lead - Operational Planning to perform analysis for the SPP footprint within the Operational Planning horizon. The engineer will develop forward-looking models, evaluate models for potential concerns, and mitigate concerns using market congestion management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from a university that meets the requirements to sit for the Professional Engineering exam
• 2+ years of job-related work experience (Engineer I), 5+ years (Senior Engineer), 9+ years (Senior Engineer II), or 12+ years (Lead Engineer)
• Professional Engineer License or Advanced degree in related field may satisfy experience requirement
• Fluent in English
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong inter-personal and team work skills
• Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures
