Job Description
Southwest Power Pool is looking for a Lead, Sr. Engineer II or Sr Engineer - Market Design to join their team. The position involves understanding the current market design, evaluating and recommending design modifications, and analyzing the impacts of proposed changes. The ideal candidate will have relevant engineering experience and a strong understanding of electric market concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a university that meets the requirements to sit for the Professional Engineering exam
- Professional Engineer License (may be substituted with 12 years of relevant experience)
- 5-12 years of relevant Engineering experience (depending on level)
- Highly proficient at organizing and conducting technical and analytical studies
- Ability to support cross-team and multi-team initiatives and projects
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
