Engineer II, Sr/II or Lead - Market Monitoring - Remote Eligible

Southwest Power Pool is looking for an Engineer II, Sr/II, or Lead to join their Market Monitoring team. The role involves analyzing economic and physical power system operations to monitor SPP and congestion hedging markets, identifying market design issues, and providing technical support to management. The position requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a university that meets the requirements to sit for the Professional Engineering exam
• Two (2) Years of relevant Engineering experience for Engineer II
• Five (5) years of relevant Engineering experience with Professional Engineer License for Sr. Engineer
• Nine (9) years of relevant Engineering experience with Professional Engineer License or Advanced degree for Senior Engineer II
• Twelve (12) years of relevant Engineering experience for Lead Engineer
