Lead or Sr. Market Design Analyst- Remote Eligible

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking a Lead or Sr. Market Design Analyst to support and enhance the operation of our electricity markets. As a highly skilled and motivated Market Analyst, you'll leverage your expertise in market concepts and data analysis to drive efficiency, support daily market operations, and contribute to the development and implementation of key market initiatives and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, or other related degree
• Three (3) years of job-related experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement
• Lead Market Analyst - 10 years of electricity market experience that includes knowledge of market software systems
• Sr. Market Analyst - Five years of job-related experience
• Strong inter-personal and teamwork skills
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures
