Programmer Developer I,II, or Senior

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is looking for a Programmer Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3-8 years of experience in IT development and support. The role involves optimizing data management, collaborating with teams, and delivering robust solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related field or equivalent experience
• Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Unix or Linux operating systems, application development and support, and database management systems
• Proficient in one or more modern programming languages
• Effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Effective working knowledge of SDLC and project life cycle methods and practices
• Effective working knowledge of secure coding practices
• Good customer service and organization skills
• Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures
