Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the areas of direct and indirect patient care, laboratory procedures, and medical records.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED preferred
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
- Maintain RMA, CMA or NCMA credentials according to requirements established by the certifying body
- CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines required within 30 days of hire date
