Job Description
The Physical Therapist-Specialist (PTSMED) develops and implements the Physical Therapy Specialty service line, managing clinical protocols, patient flow, and providing treatment programs. This role involves direct patient communication, evaluating impairments, and ensuring patient progress towards treatment goals. It reports to the Director of Physical Therapy and requires a commitment to providing excellent patient care and maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Provide immediate support to physicians and patients in a physician clinic setting.
- Coordinate the care of patients outside the physician clinic, focusing on rehabilitation needs.
- Perform evaluation procedures including range of motion, circumferential measurements, and neurological/manual muscle testing.
