RN (ED) - FT/72 Nights

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to patients, utilize the Nursing Process, and ensure practice meets compliance with State and Federal laws. This is a night shift position, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas
• Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan
• Effective people skills and communication
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products
• Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Basic dysrhythmia
• De-escalation training (required completion at first course offering after hire)
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Course (within one year of hire)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) (preferred)
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (preferred)
