Job Description
Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, utilizing the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and assumes responsibilities for nursing care and documentation.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Basic Dysrhythmia
- De-escalation Training
- Procedural Sedation skills
- Aseptic technique
- Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas
- Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan
- Effective people skills and communication
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products
- Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery
