The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to patients and utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Aseptic technique
- Scrub and circulating nurse skills for various services (within six (6) months of hire)
- Basic Dysrhythmia
- De-escalation training (preferred)
- Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas
- Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan
- Effective people skills and communication
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products
- Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery
