The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide patient-centered care across the inpatient unit, swing bed program, and community-based diagnostic services. They will evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech Therapy program
- Master’s or Clinical Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) or equivalent
- Experience and/or documented training in dysphagia evaluation and management, including modified barium swallow studies (MBSS)
- Current Vermont licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
