Job Description
We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist to join our global team, ideally based in the Midwest/South, to provide expert-level support for our liquid handling suite of products. The role will require significant travel throughout the USA and occasional travel to the UK headquarters.
Requirements
- MSc with at least five years’ practical experience or a PhD and at least two years practical experience in a Biological Science discipline, liquid handling, laboratory automation or related field
- Working knowledge of NGS methods used in research, with experience using liquid handling and automation
- Experience with workflow optimization in genomics, drug discovery, and structural biology
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%), including internationally
- Amiable personality; excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, record-keeping, and communication skills; professional demeanour
- Leadership ability with a demonstrated record of mentorship
