The Electrical Maintenance Operator performs industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations in a heavy industrial steelmaking environment. This role ensures the safe and reliable operation of electrical and control systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ year industrial electrical maintenance experience (steel or heavy manufacturing preferred), or 2 years industrial electrical experience plus a degree in electrical or instrumentation technology
- PLC troubleshooting/programming experience (Allen-Bradley)
- Experience with AC/DC drives and motor control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced production environment
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
