SSAB is one of the largest North American producers of steel plate and coil, serving many industrial markets including energy, construction, agriculture and transportation. The company operates five state of the art facilities strategically located in key regions across the U.S. and has nearly 1,200 highly skilled employees in the U.S. The Electrical Maintenance Specialist, Facilities position will be responsible for electrical maintenance, design, and project management plant-wide, including new equipment installation and upgrades to existing electrical equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent GED/HSE
- Bachelor of Science in electrical or electronic engineering or a minimum of 2 years industry experience in electrical engineering and/or maintenance
- Minimum of 5 years working with the electrical maintenance or design in industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience working with multiple contractors on medium to large sized projects
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Mid to high-level computer skills; to include proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Regular and reliable attendance
