Job Description
SSAB is seeking a Rolling Mill Automation Engineer to work in our Muscatine, Iowa facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for software engineering and maintenance, process engineering and maintenance, and provide expert advice and support to the Maintenance/Operating Groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum five years' experience working with Control Logix and other Rockwell operating systems
- Possess knowledge of process interactions between control layers and physical processes in a steel plate manufacturing facility
- Exercise sound engineering and economic judgement and discretion regarding process control decision-making
