Job Description
The Director Risk Management Programs and Services position is responsible for overseeing risk management at SSM Health, focusing on the clinical and operational aspects of healthcare delivery. The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management program to identify, analyze, and mitigate operational and strategic risks.
Requirements
- Develops and implements systems, policies, and procedures for risk related information collection and analysis
- Collects and evaluates data concerning patient injuries, operational risks, and other risk-related data
- Monitors and evaluates systems to track, analyze, and report occurrences and unanticipated outcomes
- Develops risk metrics and reporting for department and executive leadership
- Recruits, engages, develops, leads, and manages assigned staff
