The Senior Financial Analyst-Business Support & Analytics will develop and complete management reports, ad-hoc reports, and checks for accuracy and compliance. They will also supervise the duties of the Financial Analyst and ensure work is accurate and timely.
Requirements
- Develops and completes month-end management reports and presentations for the board
- Analyzes financial data and relevant information and interprets data
- Prepares ad hoc reports as and when required by Management
- Conducts complex studies to determine the cost of business activities
- Recommends budget adjustments and cost improvement measurements
- Determines and analyzes complex statistical and financial data
- Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
- Establishes and oversees financial and control systems and procedures
- Supervises the analysis of obtained information and reviews all work prior to submission to management
- Manages to work with the Financial Analyst when required to acquire financial and quantitative information
- Oversees the duties assigned to the Financial Analyst
- Provides work direction and ensures that work produced and submitted to the management is accurate and within established timeframes
- Provides on the job training and orienting the team during course of work
- Promotes a service-oriented attitude in addressing employee queries effectively
- Manages to develop and maintain an appropriate mechanism for sharing data, to aid financial analysis and reporting
- Prepares budget calculation and advises supervisor/management on budget scenarios and sensitivity analysis
- Develops budget and rolling forecasts templates and update them to be concurrent
- Facilitates and use relevant systems for budget preparation and tracking
