Aug Prep is a community where excellence, faith, and holistic education come together. We're seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher who will empower students to discover their potential and pursue excellence—academically, personally, and spiritually—through high-quality teaching and authentic care.

Requirements

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality instruction in reading, writing, math, and other subjects as assigned.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including small-group and individual support.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress; use assessment data to inform instruction.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Serve as the cultural and spiritual model for their students, always interacting respectfully and striving to demonstrate God’s love to their students and families.
• Effectively communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and needs.
• Collaborate as a team player and proactively offer solutions as challenges arise throughout the school year.
• Continuously seek professional growth through building and department meetings/professional development, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars/in-services.
• Remain open-minded to professional growth and actively engage in the school community as we continue to grow and evolve over the coming years.
