Job Description
K4 - 2 Theatre Teacher at Aug Prep South Campus. Responsible for designing and delivering engaging theatre instruction to students in K4–2nd grade. The role involves planning lessons, preparing materials, and assessing student learning. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with young children, a strong understanding of drama instruction, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field (or endorsement)
- Teaching experience, preferably in drama or theatre to young children
- Strong understanding of early childhood and elementary instructional practices
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to plan lessons aligned to state standards and school expectations
- Active participation in a Christian church
- Demonstrated knowledge of drama instruction across developmental stages
